Understanding the Problem.
Various major life circumstances lead to poverty and homelessness – addiction, domestic violence, eviction, family tragedy, job loss, major health condition, and more. We want to equip and engage with the homeless communities to transition into financial stability and permanent housing.
We step in and provide a paradigm shift towards a better future.
Our Programs
Financial Literacy
Our financial literacy workshops are designed to help people seeking a transition into affordable housing by creating a budgeting plan, establishing a savings account, building & maintaining credit and saving for unexpected life events.
Upon completion of our 3-series program, participants will possess the knowledge and skillset to make effective and informed decisions with the resources we provide them with.
Meals for Student Atheletes
We are preparing meals and looking to partner up with local restaurants to provide high school athletes the nutrition and energy they need before competing.
“
I was homeless nearly all my life and I am an ex-felon. I was living on the streets of Denver four years before completing my housing program. Upon completion of my housing program – I gained access to a key to my own apartment. I’ve been in my apartment for 7 years now and I had help from Cry WIthout Tears in providing me basic financial services: how to open up a banking account, pay my bills and save money.
